About Mike Recicar

Hello, my name is Mike Recicar, and I’ve been providing sports massage therapy, stretching, and fitness coaching in the Central Florida area since 1996 — first in Orlando, and now in New Smyrna Beach, where I’ve proudly served the community since 2014.

I was fortunate to spend nine years as a teaching assistant at the Neuromuscular Training Center, where I gained invaluable hands-on experience and a deep understanding of human movement and recovery. From 1996 to 2000, I served as the team therapist for the Orlando Predators, and later worked with the David Leadbetter Golf Academy at ChampionsGate for two years, supporting elite athletes and golfers in performance and recovery.

Today, I continue to work with local athletes, runners, and triathletes, providing injury treatment, preventive care, and maintenance therapy to help them recover faster, move better, and perform at their best. Through decades of hands-on experience, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to restore balance and function to the body — so clients can train, compete, and live pain-free.

Personal Philosophy

My passion for healthy living and an active lifestyle stems from both personal and professional goals. I believe in practicing what I teach — maintaining balance through movement, recovery, and time outdoors. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family,  surfing, yoga, fishing, and just about anything that keeps me connected to the outdoors.

A proud native Floridian, I live in New Smyrna Beach with my best friend and wife, Dawn.

At Peak Performance Wellness, my mission is to provide each client with a comprehensive program of wellness — not just pain management.

I believe that massage, stretching, and functional exercise work together to facilitate the body’s natural healing process. When paired with healthy lifestyle choices — such as balanced nutrition, stress management, proper biomechanics, and a positive mindset — true, lasting recovery becomes possible.

Massage alone can offer temporary relief, but my goal is to help you achieve complete balance, recovery, and resiliencefor long-term health and performance.
